/ PATOLOGY

is a natural food supplement intended to improve the quality of life for people with rheumatologic problems.

The active ingredients are Magnesium, Vitamin B complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12), Vitamin C, Zinc and Ginkgo Biloba.

The ingredients of this formula have a proven effect by clinical studies in rheumatology and neurology. The synergistic action between the ingredients enhances the effect of the product.

This product can improve wellness in different situations:

Muscle spasm

Muscle spasm, otherwise known as muscle cramps, spasms occur when a muscle involuntary and forcibly contracts and cannot relax. The most common sites for muscle spasms are the thighs, calves, foot arches, hands, arms, abdomen and sometimes along the ribcage.

What causes muscle spasms?

  • Insufficient stretching before physical activity.
  • Muscle fatigue.
  • Exercising in heated temperatures.
  • Electrolyte imbalances in potassium, magnesium and calcium. 63,64

Supplements:

Vitamin B complex is effective for leg cramps and spasms. 60,61,62

Magnesium supplementation provides clinically meaningful cramp prophylaxis to older adults experiencing skeletal muscle cramps. 63,64

RHEUMATOLOGY

Rheumatic diseases affect joints tendons, ligaments, bones, and muscles. Common symptoms include:

Common Rheumatic Disorders;

  • Osteoarthritis3,4,5,6, 11,12, 18,19,20, 35
  • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) 9,10, 32,33,34
  • Lupus
  • Spondyloarthropathies — ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA)
  • Osteoporosis23,24,25
  • Gout
  • Scleroderma
  • Infectious arthritis
  • Juvenile idiopathic arthritis
  • Polymyalgia rheumatic

What Causes Rheumatic Disease?

Most of these conditions happen because your immune system goes awry and attacks your own tissues29,30,31,36. Can be genetic or a result of the environment, like cigarette smoke, pollution, or something that causes an infection32,33,34. Gender also plays a role; rheumatic diseases affect women more than men.

Supplements effects:

Mgnesium citrate:

  1. Magnesium acts as an anti-oxidant1: This increase in oxidative stress leads to the progression of many diseases like arthritis. This is because oxidative stress causes tissue damage which causes inflammation in the joints and leads to arthritis.
  2. Magnesium is essential for calcium absorption3,4,5,6: A deficiency in magnesium can also prevent the absorption of calcium. Calcium is necessary for the development of bones and reduces damage to the bones.
  3. Magnesium has anti-inflammatory properties7: This means that magnesium deficiency leads to an activation of inflammatory responses in arthritis.

Vitamins B Complex: 8

Several studies have found that vitamin B12 plays a role in controlling bone metabolism9,10 .

Other studies found that people with osteoarthritis have low intake of vitamin B9 (folic acid)11,12

Vitamins C and E:

Vitamin C (L-ascorbate) and vitamin E (tocopherols and tocotrienols)

Studies on vitamin C have found that it can stimulate the production of collagen and proteoglycan (both of which are important parts of joint cartilage) and can protect against the breakdown of cartilage. Also is proved her efficacy in osteoarthritis, arthritis and other rheumatologic problems.13,14,15.,16,17

Vitamin E may help to treat osteoarthritis by stimulating the growth of cartilage cells. Other studies have found that it has some anti-inflammatory properties.18,19,20

Zinc gluconate:

Zinc is involved in wound healing, cell reproduction and tissue growth. Studies show significantly lower zinc levels in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) compared to those without it. The lowest levels are associated with more severe disease. Researchers say zinc may help improve RA symptoms by supporting the immune system and cartilage.21,22

Weak bones (osteoporosis). Low zinc intake seems to be linked to lower bone mass. Taking a zinc supplement in combination with copper, manganese, and calcium might decrease bone loss in women who have passed menopause.23,24,25

Leg ulcers. Taking zinc sulfate by mouth appears to help some types of leg ulcers heal faster. The effects seem to be greater in people with low levels of zinc before treatment. Applying zinc paste to leg ulcers also appears to improve healing. 26,27,28

GINKGO BILOBA:

Ginkgo Biloba is an Antioxidant29,30,31,36

Ginkgo Biloba is an Anti-inflammatory32,33,34

Ginko Biloba has potential in osteoarthritis therapeutics35

Ginkgo Biloba Decreases the Symptoms of Intermittent Claudication 37,38,39,40

NEUROLOGY

Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders47,48,49, 55,56,57 of the nervous system, which include the brain, blood vessels, muscles and nerves. Most common disorders50,51,52, 54:

  • ALS
  • Arteriovenous Malformation
  • Brain Aneurysm
  • Brain Tumors
  • Dural Arteriovenous Fistulae
  • Epilepsy
  • Headache
  • Memory Disorders41,42,43,44,45,46

Supplements:

Ginkgo Biloba is Neuroprotective and Helps Improve Cognition41,42,43,44,45,46

Vitamin B Compex conducts to deficiency in neurological disorders. 47,48,49

The clinical, neuropathological and electrophysiological evidence that vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) is essential for normal neurological function.50,51,52

Vitamin C has a Vital Role in the Brain53. The crucial role of Vit C in neuronal maturation and functions, neurotransmitter action as well as responses to oxidative stress is well supported by the studies.54

There is an amount of quality data on the association of magnesium with various neurological disorders. 55,56,57

Zinc also plays an important role in the neurological disorders. 58, 59

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia65, also called fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS), is a long-term condition that causes pain all over the body, sleep problems, fatigue, and often emotional and mental distress.
